Asseco to take care of the largest document management system in Poland

Asseco Poland has signed an agreement with the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) for ongoing administration and maintenance of their Archive information system. The project execution will be commenced at the end of March and will last 4 years. The contract is worth PLN 4.9 million gross.

The task of Asseco is to ensure uninterrupted operation and provide software modifications for the Archive system, which is the largest electronic document management system operated in Poland. It enables the implementation of uniform and standardized business processes that are involved in document handling across the entire organization of KRUS, allows for central archiving of paper documents, and enforces compliance with the applicable regulations. Furthermore, it contributes to a significant reduction of document management costs, while helping to reduce the average time of case processing.

The Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) is an institution providing social security services to Polish farmers in the scope of collection of insurance contributions, awarding and payment of cash benefits, including pensions as well as accident, sickness and maternity benefits.
