Asseco among top global fintechs according to IDC
Asseco is the only Polish company to be included in the IDC FinTech Rankings Enterprise Top 50. The ranking includes the largest technology companies providing solutions for the financial services and fintech sectors. The Asseco Group's sales to this sector in 2023 exceeded PLN 5.7 billion, accounting for more than 30 percent of its overall revenues.
IDC has been creating the IDC FinTech rankings for more than two decades, presenting a list of the world's best and largest fintechs, said Marc DeCastro, research director at IDC. The companies on the list provide the innovation necessary to keep financial services at the forefront of solutions that provide customers with modern, digital experiences in all aspects of their financial journey, he added.
Asseco is a provider of, among other things, central banking systems and omnichannel and mobile solutions that respond to the latest trends in the global financial market. The company is a leading IT provider to the banking sector in Poland and operates in many European countries, as well as in Israel and the African market. Its core banking solutions are already used by several hundred banks around the world.
The Asseco Group also cooperates with large international insurance companies. Sapiens International, the Group's competence center for insurance, is a leading global provider of software for this sector. In addition, Asseco offers comprehensive IT solutions to support the operations of brokerage houses and offices, investment funds, leasing and factoring companies.
