Medical data safe in the cloud. Asseco has implemented a special project in the Municipal Hospital No. 4 in Gliwice

Asseco Poland and Krajowy Operator Chmury Medycznej (the National Medical Cloud Operator) have implemented EDM in the cloud at the Municipal Hospital No. 4 in Gliwice. This new service streamlines the processes related to reporting of medical events and recording of medical records. It also increases the security of stored and shared data and enables electronic settlement of the Prevention 40 PLUS program.

EDM in the cloud is a modern solution that allows collecting and sharing medical records without using the hospital's infrastructure. This is another joint IT project implemented by Assceco and the Municipal Hospital No. 4 in Gliwice.

More efficient, faster and more convenient for the patient. In a nutshell this is how EDM in the cloud is supposed to work. There are increasingly more medical services, the required documentation is also becoming increasingly more extensive. We had to definitely improve our functioning in this area and I believe that thanks to this solution both the medics and our patients will notice positive changes - says Przemysław Gliklich, the president of the Municipal Hospital No. 4 in Gliwice.

Medical data belongs to the most sensitive category of data, which is why its security is so important. EDM in the cloud, offered by Asseco, the leader in digitization in Poland, ensures data storage in our country and its monitoring 24/7/365.

Nowadays, well-organized and supportive IT can significantly support a healthcare entity in achieving increasingly more ambitious goals related to the delivery of digital services. We are therefore delighted that our long-term customer has once again placed its trust in us and decided to implement our new cloud-based EDM service. The cloud computing technology, on which the solution is based, responds to current challenges related to the increasing use of medical event reporting and EDM indexing. It increases accessibility to patient records produced within the hospital, and also guarantees their security. By implementing the new solution, we have also provided our client with full technical and substantive support and training for the staff - says Krzysztof Groyecki, Vice President of the Management Board, Asseco Poland.
