Asseco, in cooperation with PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny, has implemented the Central Billing System (CSB). This is one of the largest such projects executed for the energy sector in Central and Eastern Europe. Earlier, the organization used 6 different billing systems and almost 100 databases. The new solution has unified and accelerated customer service processes.
Over a period of 48 months, 6 major migrations were completed, transferring the complete data of more than 7 million customers, more than 200 million readings and more than 280 million invoices. Over 4,500 tests were also completed. In addition, during the development of the new system, settlements with customers were still carried out all the time.
The result is a system that, compared to such solutions operating in Poland today, is up to a dozen times more efficient, particularly in the area of mass process automation. It is a scalable system capable of handling new business challenges. The technologies used in it are among the most modern available on the market.
