Asseco among top employers according to "Wprost"

Asseco Poland has been ranked among the 50 best employers in the ranking prepared by the editors of the "Wprost" weekly. The purpose of the list is to recognize the companies that are doing best during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

Asseco has taken the 15th place in the ranking. The Company has initiated a number of actions in the face of the coronavirus epidemic, including donating over PLN 1 million to support the healthcare sector, carrying out free implementations at hospitals and providing support for the education sector under the "Partnership for Universities" program. Furthermore, Asseco has taken all necessary steps to ensure safe working conditions for its employees and full readiness for its clients to serve them and meet their obligations.

We had reacted to the pandemic slightly earlier than it was officially announced. We started getting signals that the situation could be difficult and a week earlier we appointed a crisis team. We were very lucky, because it helped us to deal better with the new situation and quickly switch to remote working - said Adam Góral, President of Asseco Poland. As far as salaries are concerned, we, as the management board, have resigned from paying out advance payments for bonuses. However, we are not planning cuts in the whole group. We are paying out salaries according to earlier arrangements. We know that people are in different situations and we take this into account - he added.

While working on the ranking, the editorial team contacted over a hundred of the largest companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and analyzed, among others, whether group layoffs have taken place or were planned, or whether a reduction in salaries was being taken into account. The editors also checked what actions companies were taking in the fight against the pandemic.
