Asseco in Gartner's 2014 "Magic Quadrant For Trading Platforms" report

Asseco Poland, as the only Polish company placed on the quadrant, was included in the “Magic Quadrant for Trading Platforms” report published by Gartner research and advisory firm in December 22, 2014. Asseco’s def3000/TR (Treasury) solution dedicated to the financial industry has met the strict evaluation criteria imposed in the report.

With its def3000/TR (Treasury) software designed to support registration and processing of cash and capital market transactions, Asseco has been placed in the “Magic Quadrant for Trading Platforms” in the “Niche Players” Quadrant.

“According to the report, “This Magic Quadrant evaluates suppliers only on their trading capabilities. The criteria for inclusion in this Magic Quadrant are based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative measures. Those vendors that are included must: Have at least 20 unique, named, paying financial institutions using their trading solutions,” among additional criteria listed in the report. In addition, Asseco provided references from a number of its clients who have chosen the def3000/TR system,” said Sławomir Ziajka, Vice Director of the Commercial Banks Division at Asseco Poland. “We believe our presence in the Gartner’s report proves that we are a major provider of software for the financial sector, not only in Poland but also in Eastern Europe,” he added.

def3000/TR (Treasury) is a system for processing of treasury and financial transactions concluded both in the interbank market and with the bank’s internal clients. The system supports complete transaction processing, from the moment of conclusion till the final settlement. The available interfaces to external and internal systems allow for automation of tasks which, until now, have been performed manually by operators.
