Asseco one of the largest fintechs in the world according to IDC

Asseco has once again been included in the IDC FinTech Rankings Enterprise Top 50, the only Polish company to qualify in this category. The Asseco Group's sales to the financial sector in 2022 exceeded PLN 5.7 billion, accounting for more than 30 percent of its total revenues.

Asseco's offerings include central banking systems, as well as omnichannel and mobile solutions that respond to the latest trends in the global financial market. Thanks to its experience and competence, the company has implemented its core banking solutions in several hundred banks. It is a leading IT provider to the banking sector in Poland and operates in many European countries, as well as in Israel and the African market.

The Asseco Group also cooperates with large international insurance companies. Sapiens International, the Group's competence center for insurance, is a leading global provider of software for this sector. In addition, Asseco offers comprehensive IT solutions to support the work of brokerage houses, leasing and factoring companies.

We have been consistently pursuing our strategy based on the development of our proprietary software and related services, as well as strong geographic, sector and product diversification. 2022 was a record year for us in terms of sales. Indeed, the international nature of our organization and its federated structure allow us to compete effectively in foreign markets, while maintaining the local and flexible approach so necessary for our customers, concluded Adam Góral, President of Asseco Poland.

The companies highlighted in the IDC FinTech Rankings are the organizations most involved in the digitization of financial services institutions. Through them, they are implementing technological innovations that increase efficiency and enhance the level of service to their customers, which is crucial in the realities of the digital economy.

IDC has been compiling FinTech rankings for the past twenty years and in its list of the top 150 providers it includes a representation of the world's largest FinTechs, said Marc DeCastro, research director at IDC. The technology companies on this list provide the innovative solutions needed to digitize financial services at the highest level, he added.

The "IDC FinTech Rankings" report covers providers of technology solutions (hardware, software and services) for banking, insurance, capital market and fintechs supporting these sectors. The main criterion for the list was the amount of revenues achieved in these areas.
