Asseco recognized by the Responsible Business Forum

The charity initiatives "We help" and "School Starter Kit" were included in the report "Responsible business in Poland. Good Practices". This is the 22nd edition of this compilation, which is prepared annually by the Responsible Business Forum (FOB).

The aim of Asseco's annual employee charity campaign "We help" is to support those most in need and to motivate employees to get involved. Employees nominate selected organizations for financial support, such as orphanages or single mother's homes, hospices or foundations supporting poor families. In this year's edition, Asseco helped 25 organizations. In turn, since the beginning of this project, it has allocated PLN 1.74 million to help those in need, thanks to which, among others, 5,000 children have received support. So far, 2,000 employees have been involved in the "We help" campaign.

In addition, in July-August 2023. Asseco conducted the "School Starter Kit" campaign. The company partnered with the Stanisława Bieńczak Children's Aid Foundation in Brzozów, Podkarpackie Voivodeship, and donated full school starter kits, consisting of school supplies and materials needed for school and backpacks, to the organization's pupils. As part of the campaign, Asseco employees and associates financed school supplies, breakfast bags and sports bags from their own resources, while the company purchased backpacks for the children. In total, the Asseco team prepared 35 starter kits for more than PLN 7,000, and the company added backpacks for about PLN 5,000.

The report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices" is a periodic publication of the Responsible Business Forum, which is a compilation of companies' ESG and sustainability activities from a given year. It provides the largest overview of corporate responsibility and ESG initiatives in Poland. Submission and publication of good practices are free of charge.
