mBank Brokerage Hause launches the first in Poland stock trading app for iPad

Asseco Poland is the creator of mDM for iPad mobile service. mBank Brokerage House, as the first in Poland, has provided its clients with a stock trading application for iPad. The application is available on the App Store from Thursday, 24 April.

Asseco Poland is the creator of mDM for iPad mobile service. mBank Brokerage House, as the first in Poland, has provided its clients with a stock trading application for iPad. mDM for iPad mobile service offers the full functionality of an investment account, allowing for comprehensive and convenient management of investments at any place and time. The application is available on the App Store from Thursday, 24 April.

 

“In times of increasing mobility, when fast investment decision-making becomes more and more important, investors’ demand for tablet dedicated applications is growing. In order to be able to effectively invest in the stock market, you need to have continuing access to current market information as well as opportunity to respond to market developments. An easy to read, touchscreen tablet allows you to react literally on the fly,” explains Robert Kosowski, Marketing Director of mBank Brokerage House. “Our work was inspired by the concept of tablet apps which should be intuitive, simple and comprehensive all at the same time. mDM for iPad has been designed focusing on the logic of operation and appearance of the application by a team of mBank Brokerage House and developed by Asseco. It is an innovative solution that enables complete management of a securities account. Thanks to that, you are able to perform any operation wherever you carry an iPad with Internet access,” he adds.

mDM for iPad is a state-of-the-art mobile transaction system that makes placing orders an intuitive and simple task. After logging in, application users see a fully interactive display where they can check their account balance, current market situation, and review their own trade orders. The provided OneTouch form makes it possible to place a new order with a single touch. Once the required financial instrument is selected, the form is filled in with the relevant current values automatically. Afterwards, it takes just one touch to accept the transaction.

Another unique functionality of this application is the BEST price mode that allows to place pending orders with the most favourable limit. It takes just a flick of the finger to modify a pending order so that it was slightly better than the currently quoted bid or ask price.

Moreover, mDM for iPad enables easy management of the investment portfolio thanks to the clear presentation of assets in the form of tables and full-screen charts. Other functionalities of the application include the calculation of profits and losses, ability to draw or repay a loan, making bank transfers, as well as management of multiple accounts.

The application takes full advantage of the iPad screen and seamlessly adapts to horizontal or vertical orientation of the tablet. The interactive desktop allows you to quickly display all important information – with just one touch you can learn about the offers, transactions, detailed quotes and transparent charts of a selected financial instrument.

Full functionality of the application is available for all internet banking customers of mBank Brokerage House as of 24 April. In the near future, mBank intends to implement a new application for iPhone that will leverage on the solutions achieved in the development of mDM for iPad. Subsequently, it is planned to transfer the tablet application also for Android operating system devices.

The stock trading app for iPad is not the only highly advanced investment solution offered by mBank. At the beginning of the year, the Brokerage House successfully launched a browser version of their mForex Trader system – mForex WEB, which has become very popular among forex investors. The application allows for conducting transactions and market analysis, provides access to market data and commentaries, and it has been also optimized for tablets. This solution is used by more than half of mBank’s forex investors.

The new stock trading application can be found in the App Store under the name mDM for iPad.
