Asseco has been recognized in the “Polish Cheetahs 2026” ranking, compiled by the editorial team of Wprost weekly. The company, which reported PLN 1.6 billion in operating profit in 2025, is the only IT company included in this year’s ranking. The list recognizes Poland’s most dynamic and fast-growing enterprises.

The “Polish Cheetahs” ranking features companies that achieve outstanding business performance, successfully expand the scale of their operations, and strengthen their market position. Asseco’s inclusion confirms the effectiveness of its consistently executed growth strategy and its ability to create long-term value in a demanding and rapidly evolving technology environment.

For more than three decades, Asseco has been developing its own technologies and supporting the digital transformation of organizations across key sectors of the economy. While operating in numerous international markets, the Group has remained a company with strong Polish roots and one of the leading ambassadors of Poland’s technology industry worldwide.

Two initiatives implemented by Asseco have been recognized in the latest edition of the „Responsible Business in Poland 2025. Good Practices” report, published by the Responsible Business Forum – Poland’s largest annual review of corporate activities supporting sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

This year’s publication features „We Help” and “Asseco for the Future” initiatives, presented in the category of social engagement and support for local community development.

For many years, „We Help” program has encouraged Asseco employees to take part in charitable and volunteer activities. Through the initiative, support is provided to organizations helping people in difficult life situations, including children's homes, hospices, and foundations assisting disadvantaged families. Since the program was launched, Asseco has allocated nearly PLN 2.2 million to these efforts, providing assistance to thousands of people in need.

Meanwhile, “Asseco for the Future” helps young people make informed career choices and develop competencies in science and technology. In 2025, in cooperation with the Our Future Foundation, Asseco’s educational initiatives reached 2,750 pupils and university students directly. Company experts shared their knowledge during events and workshops, promoting digital skills development and encouraging careers in the IT sector.

SME Finance Forum: Innovation & Partnership for MSMEs Growth

The SME Finance Forum, backed by G20 and IFC/World Bank, is the leading global network of 250+ members/affiliates operating in 190 countries. Adam Góral, Founder and CEO of Asseco Poland, has been honored with the prestigious Banker’s Ace (As Bankiera) Award. The distinction recognizes his longstanding contribution to the development of Poland’s technology and financial sectors, as well as his consistent efforts in building one of the largest international IT groups founded on Polish capital.

The award jury acknowledged Adam Góral’s significant role in advancing technology solutions for the financial industry. Under his leadership, Asseco Poland has strengthened its position as one of the leading providers of IT solutions for banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions in Poland and across the region. The jury also highlighted his contribution to accelerating digital transformation and fostering the development of modern technology services.

The 2026 Banker’s Aces Awards ceremony took place on June 9 in the historic Senate Hall of the University of Warsaw. The event brought together representatives of the financial sector, public administration, academia, and the business community.

‍Asseco Poland has presented a system for drone detection and monitoring. According to the concept, the solution is based on existing street lighting infrastructure, where sensors can be installed to create a scalable network capable of detecting low-flying objects. The POLISH ANTI-DRONE system uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze sounds emitted by drones, enabling it to determine their location and flight trajectory, thereby creating an early-warning system. The solution is a dual-use technology with both military and civilian applications. In the civilian domain, it can detect increases in noise levels caused by gunshots, illegal street racing, or crowd activity like a protest, while also measuring noise pollution.

The use of unmanned aircraft systems on the battlefield has revolutionized military strategy, making the neutralization of drone attacks a top priority for modern armed forces. Equipping the country with effective counter-drone systems is an important task facing the Polish military, particularly in the context of protecting NATO’s eastern flank.

The solution presented by Asseco consists of a network of acoustic sensors mounted on streetlights, which also provide the power required for their operation. Audio data collected by the sensors is transmitted to the Asseco Internet of Things (IoT) Platform via cellular networks. The system then performs AI-based analysis, classifies the detected object, and tracks its movement through airspace. Users can observe the flight path of a moving drone and create simulations of its future route. The system also sends automatic notifications whenever an unauthorized flight is detected within predefined security zones.

The system is an extension of Asseco’s existing scalable IoT Platform, which is already used by telecommunication companies and other organizations. The platform was designed to manage large numbers of electricity and water meters, as well as various other IoT devices.

Military and civilian applications

Beyond its military capabilities, the POLISH ANTI-DRONE system offers a wide range of civilian applications.

“The POLISH ANTI-DRONE system can, for example, notify authorities about an unregistered protest based on an analysis of the noise level generated by the crowd. Another use case is the detection of illegal car or motorcycle races in urban areas through the identification of excessive engine noise. Automatically generated alerts enable relevant services to respond more quickly, increasing their effectiveness in addressing such activities” - says Grzegorz Bartler, Vice President of the Management Board at Asseco Poland. “An important stage in the development of the POLISH ANTI-DRONE system was eliminating false positives—situations in which the system confuses the sound of a lawn mower or scooter with that made by a drone. We conducted a series of tests that allowed us to avoid false alarms, ensuring that users receive alerts only in confirmed cases” - he adds.

A system that is difficult to detect

The solution features simple installation and minimal energy consumption. It can be easily scaled by deploying sensors on additional streetlights across different regions of the country. The system can also be enhanced through integration with additional sensors, such as thermal detection devices, increasing its effectiveness under all conditions.

The system operates passively, meaning that it does not emit any signal, making it difficult to detect and resistant to interference. The POLISH ANTI-DRONE system eliminates single points of failure, ensuring operational continuity even if parts of the infrastructure are damaged.

Developed by Asseco Poland, the POLISH ANTI-DRONE system can be used to protect military facilities and critical infrastructure such as power grids, bridges, and airports, as well as civilian facilities in cities and municipalities. The system can provide monitoring across the entire country.

Asseco ranked second in the “Polish Ambassadors” ranking published by the weekly magazine Wprost. The ranking recognizes companies that promote the Polish economy on international markets through the development of foreign sales and exports, while building the global position of their brands.

International markets generated PLN 14.4 billion in Asseco’s revenues, accounting for 86% of the Group’s total revenues. Asseco operates in more than 50 countries and employs over 30,000 people worldwide. Asseco companies are listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The “Polish Ambassadors” ranking is based on the value of foreign sales and exports generated by Polish companies, which in this year's edition exceeded PLN 1.55 trillion.
