Asseco Poland received the award for the largest CIT payer in the IT sector for 2025. The awards were presented at a gala organised by XYZ, with Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy, presenting the award to Asseco.
The XYZ ranking is based on Ministry of Finance data on CIT taxpayers for 2025. Asseco paid nearly PLN 70 million in CIT, a record amount among IT companies operating in Poland.
At Asseco, we have long followed a simple principle: we pay taxes where we do business and generate income. We believe this is not only a legal obligation, but also a way of showing responsibility towards the state and society that enable us to grow. In 2025, our Polish companies paid nearly PLN 70 million in CIT, and more than PLN 100 million when tax on the income of controlled foreign companies (CFC) is included. The Polish market is not just a place to make money. We also share responsibility for its development. Companies benefit from the country’s infrastructure, education, security and stability. Paying taxes fairly is one way they contribute to funding these foundations, says Artur Wiza, Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.
