AMMS Academy

Notice for individuals registering on the AMMS Academy platform

Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing:

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. to create and maintain an account that provides access to educational materials about the controller’s products and services – pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  2. to perform billing and settlement activities related to maintaining a paid account – pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (processing necessary to fulfill statutory tax obligations).

When registering on the AMMS Academy platform, you may choose either a paid or a free account. The free option is available upon your consent to receive commercial information at the email address provided during registration. More details about the processing of your data on the basis of such consent are available HERE. If you choose the paid option, you will gain access to the AMMS Academy, but no commercial offers will be sent to you. Data Recipients:

Your personal data may be shared with entities processing data on behalf of the controller to support its day-to-day business operations (subcontractors, suppliers, including providers of external systems). Such entities act on the basis of a contract with the controller and only under the controller’s instructions.

Data Transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA):

Your personal data will not be transferred outside the EEA.

Data Retention Period:

Your personal data will be processed for as long as your account remains active and for the period required under applicable tax and accounting laws.

Your Rights:

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. access your personal data and request rectification;
  2. request the erasure of your data, under the conditions provided in Article 17 GDPR;
  3. request restriction of processing, under the conditions provided in Article 18 GDPR;
  4. withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, where processing is based on consent.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data does not comply with applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Requirement to Provide Data:

Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to create and maintain an account.

Automated Decision-Making and Profiling:

We do not make any decisions that significantly affect you through automated means, including profiling.
