The Medical University of Silesia will teach.... modern technologies

The Medical University of Silesia in Katowice (SUM) will be the first higher education institution in Poland, which will provide future doctors with an opportunity to learn about IT systems used in hospitals. Efficient use of such tools is nowadays essential for daily work of medical personnel. That is why President of SUM Professor Przemysław Jałowiecki, MD, Ph.D. and Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland Krzysztof Groyecki have signed a letter of intent to create a simulation computer laboratory.

Asseco will implement the AMMS system in Paris

Asseco has begun a cooperation with MEDI-system, which belongs to the international ORPEA group with a network of more than 700 facilities in 10 European countries. The contract covers the purchase, delivery and implementation of the Asseco Medical Management Solutions system. It will be installed in MEDI-system's Data Center in Paris, and will be used by all network facilities in Poland. The value of the project is approximately PLN 1 million gross.
