Gospodarczy Bank Spółdzielczy w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim (GBS Gorzów) is a dynamically growing institution operating mainly in the Lubuskie and Zachodniopomorskie voivodeships. It has been supporting the local community since 1950, building its brand on trust, proximity and multi-generational relationships. As a member of Spółdzielcza Grupa Bankowa (Grupa SGB), it puts emphasis on modernity and building longterm relationships. GBS Gorzów cooperates with 174 other banks affiliated with Grupa SGB and offers broad access to financial services.

Comprehensive rebranding and modernization of electronic banking
The image transformation of Gospodarczy Bank Spółdzielczy in Gorzów Wielkopolski (GBS Gorzów) is one of the most comprehensive rebranding projects in the Polish coopera-tive banking sector. In 2024, a strategic rebranding process was successfully carried out, which included both the Bank’s branches and all digital channels. The project was carried out in cooperation with branding studio Jekyll & Hyde and Asse-co, ensuring consistency across all customer contact channels, with a particular focus on refreshing the user interfaces of the electronic banking systems: Asseco Customer Banking Platform (Asseco CBP) and Asseco Enterprise Banking Platform (Asseco EBP), as well as the BSGo mobile application.
The rebranding and change of visual identity was entrusted to the Jekyll & Hyde branding studio, which developed a com-prehensive graphic design system for the GBS Gorzów brand, including such customer contact points as branches, the bank’s website and social media. Meanwhile, the e-banking systems and mobile applications were precisely adapted by Asseco, which based its design on the guidelines in the brandbook prepared by the studio.
The project also aimed to improve the accessibility and read-ability of the systems to meet the needs of different customer groups, both individuals and companies. Another important aspect was to ensure security and strengthen user confidence through a consistent and modern, image in line with the Bank’s new identity.
The bank chose Asseco for this task, guided by the company’s experience in projects for the financial sector and the flexibility of the solutions it offered, which made it possible to adapt electronic banking to the latest trends in UI and UX. This made it possible to preserve the local authenticity of the institution while implementing modern technologies to enhance the comfort and security of digital services.
Modern systems and consistent visual identity in line with the latest UI and UX trends
Gospodarczy Bank Spółdzielczy in Górzow Wielkopolski, in cooperation with Asseco, carried out a comprehensive upgrade of its electronic and mobile banking systems. The project included corporate, retail and mobile banking, as well as a visual transformation in all areas of customer contact. With these changes, GBS Gorzów became one of the first cooperative banks in Poland with a consistent image both in branches and across all digital channels.
The technological modernization led by Asseco included the retail banking system Asseco Customer Banking Platform (Asseco CBP) and the corporate banking system Asseco Enterprise Banking Platform (Asseco EBP), as well as the mobile banking system BSGo. It took only 1.5 months to complete the task, which usually lasts a year in commercial banking. This was possible thanks to the flexibility of Asseco’s solutions and the competence of its development and implementation teams and UX/UI designers. The new systems and applications have significantly enhanced the user experience, combining modernity with local character, and have created a modern image for the Bank that responds to modern customer needs.
Electronic banking for businesses has been refreshed and modernized. It gained a dedicated graphic visualization, consistent with the bank’s image and suitable for the corporate user. Changes have also been made to personal banking, which is now fully compatible with the new image of GBS Gorzów.
