Companies’ position in the list of "100 Largest Polish Private Companies" is determined by their value - in the case of Asseco it amounts to nearly PLN 7 billion.

The jury appreciated the strategic skills and effective management methods of the President of Asseco, which resulted in the company's revenues exceeding PLN 10 billion. The Asseco Group, operating under the federation model, has developed intensively on foreign markets, where it generates nearly 90% of its total sales.

This is an honor for my entire team – 27,000 employees operating in nearly 60 countries. Additionally, we have achieved about USD 3 billion in revenues. All this is a source of pride, considering that in 1991 I started my business as a start-up in Rzeszów with three people - said Adam Góral while receiving the award.

The federation model he adopted is an alternative to large IT companies. The companies of the Group are connected not only by common business goals, but above all by vision, values and partnership relations.

Our way is to integrate small and mid-sized companies from all over the world and not to kill their entrepreneurship, because our leadership is in fact based on a business consultancy, not on orders - summarized the President of Asseco. I am hoping that there will be more such undertakings in Poland - he added.

According to the authors of the report, the value of managers is determined by their competence, financial results and share price increase, but also by the duration of their held position. The longer the duration, the greater the market confidence. The following company CEOs are on the top of the list: Adam Kiciński - CD Projekt, Zbigniew Jagiełło - PKO BP and Daniel Obajtek - PKN Orlen.

Asseco Poland's net profit in 2019 amounted to nearly PLN 207 million and was by over PLN 40 million higher than the year before. At the end of that period, the capitalization was nearly PLN 5.3 billion. Additionally, with nearly 2,200 employees, Asseco Poland has been ranked 3rd in the category of the "Largest enterprises in Podkarpacie by employment size".
The "Golden Hundred Companies of Podkarpacie" ranking is organized by the "Nowiny" newspaper, in cooperation with the Podkarpacie branch of the Polish Economic Society.

The Asseco Banking Forum was held for the first time in a remote form. The online meeting was attended by over 400 representatives of the banking, capital, insurance and e-commerce sectors.

In order for banks to maintain their position on the market, their digital transformation is necessary, which, as noted by Łukasz Dziekan, Member of the Management Board, Allegro Pay, is a complex undertaking for them. Financial institutions should treat IT as a profit, not a cost, and the process of change should be carried out in such a way that it is as little felt by clients as possible.

But how much time is needed to build a new bank? What is important at the beginning of this process? These questions were answered during Tomasz Blicharz's speech, Asseco BooX Product Marketer.

The conference participants agreed that technology was one of the key elements both in the process of building a financial institution and its functioning. Dynamic changes on the market and growing expectations of clients mean that the banking sector should ask itself the following question: "What should be changed in technology today to be able to sell tomorrow?". The experts answered this question during the second debate.

This does not change the fact that in order to be effective, an advisor needs IT solutions that will make their work easier and faster. Paweł Kapel, President of the Management Board of the Cooperative Bank in Lubaczów, which uses the Common IT Platform (WPI), a comprehensive IT solution offered by Asseco in the SaaS model, knows how important the level of customer service is.

The Asseco Banking Forum 2020 ended with a speech by Piotr Czarnecki, Business Leader, an expert in banking and digital business and an academic lecturer, who concluded that in order for Polish banks to remain at the forefront of the services they have so far specialized in, they should be intelligent, personalized, multi-channel as well as offer both banking and non-banking services.
