The joint offer of Asseco and Oracle will include technologically advanced applications used for mass and cyclical settlements. Ultimately, the Oracle Cloud platform will include systems such as AUMS Billing Lite, which is designed for power companies with up to 100,000 power consumption points, and AUMS Billing Smart, dedicated to companies regularly invoicing outside the utilities sector. It will be also possible to take advantage of a fully configured solution for smaller businesses, such as AUMS Billing Basic. It includes the main functionalities of a classic billing system.
Establishing the cooperation with Oracle confirms our competencies as a proven provider of systems for key enterprises from the utilities sector. Thanks to it, the billing systems from the AUMS family will become available for even more companies from Poland and abroad. It is worth mentioning that Asseco's experience in developing software for the power industry is appreciated by our clients and partners, and the billing systems provided by us guarantee the reliability and continuity of billing processes. We hold the Oracle Platinum Partner title, which also strengthens our position as the supplier of software fully adapted to sales in the SaaS model, said Paweł Piwowar, Vice President of the Management Board, Asseco Poland.
Thanks to the implementation of Asseco's billing applications in the Oracle cloud, customers are not only assured of a short implementation time, but can also quickly launch new products on the market. This also translates into the possibility of the flexible development of new functionalities, without the need to invest in infrastructure and resources to maintain it. All Asseco systems are also adjusted to the applicable legal regulations on an ongoing basis. In turn, the Oracle cloud architecture guarantees the security of data storage and processing in accordance with the applicable provisions of the GDPR regulation.
Asseco and Oracle join forces, thanks to which customers from the utilities sector will gain access to modern technologies in a very flexible cloud model while enjoying the highest security standards. The partnership with Oracle will also allow us to sell our products in an attractive form, at a much lower price than in the case of traditional on-premise implementations, said Magdalena Kaczmarek, Sales Department Director, Asseco Poland.
The offer of Asseco's systems in the Oracle cloud can be used by customers from all segments and various sectors. The agreement was concluded for an indefinite period of time.
Asseco is the leading producer of IT solutions for the power sector in Poland. It also develops its activity on international markets, e.g. in Serbia, Nigeria and Ethiopia. The Asseco AUMS systems support all processes related to electricity management used by trading companies, energy distributors, and customer service companies. The company provides solutions which allow for the measurable reduction of operating costs, the improvement of operations and the increase of the power sector companies' competitiveness. It also implements projects focusing on the centralization and migration of large data volumes. It has about 65% share in the Polish energy market. In addition, nearly 60% of energy bills are generated based on the company's proprietary billing systems. It has competence centers in Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Investor relations should involve a proactive approach - the participation in investor meetings and conferences in Poland and abroad. It is important to try to anticipate which topics may be of interest to investors at a given moment. Our freefloat, i.e. the share of shareholders holding less than 5% of stake in Asseco Poland, is currently about 65%. Individual investors constitute a strong representation in this group. In communication we focus on online channels. We can see that such tools as social media or video content reach small shareholders in the shortest possible time and are most often observed by them. They expect the most up-to-date and cross-sectional information, which allows not only for the analysis of financial results, but also for a better understanding of Asseco's business operations. We are an expert in a very innovative IT sector and we want to share this knowledge with investors. Last year we engaged our managers in the communication with the market. A series of videos was created in which the heads of our individual business areas talk about ongoing projects, development plans, opportunities and challenges. On our investor website we also publish recordings with comments from members of the Management Board on the financial results after each quarter, said Katarzyna Szczepaniak-Piętka, Investor Relations Manager, Asseco Poland.

Asseco's new system has been developed according to the design thinking concept. This means that the appearance and individual functionalities have been created, tested and modified on the basis of the information collected on an ongoing basis from the future users. The ePROMAK NEXT platform gives traders access to many useful functions via a modern and intuitive interface. The system supports all financial instruments offered by brokerage houses listed on stock markets. An investor can also use their recommendations directly on the platform. In addition, all quotation charts and technical analysis indicators are drawn online and updated automatically. Transactions can be made from virtually any location in the system, for example while reviewing quotations or statements. The data are presented in Polish or English.
, said Artur Trunowicz, Director of the Capital Market Division, Asseco Poland.
Asseco's new trading platform is adapted to all commonly used types of devices thanks to the RWD technology. The system is also able to handle many thousands of users at the same time without any limitations in the execution of orders. Additionally, it can be integrated with social media channels, which gives less experienced investors the option of copying transactions from other people, thus reducing investment risk.

A qualified electronic signature in the cloud is used to authenticate medical documentation, test orders, medicine applications and entries (key from the point of view of the treatment process) directly from the Hospital Information System - HIS. It can also be used to sign financial, HR, tax and other civil law documents. This type of solution does not require the connection to workstations of any devices or external media, or the installation of additional software. This ensures that a signature is completely independent of hardware, thus ensuring mobility, which was not possible up until now.
, said Paweł Szymański, IT Director, ORPEA Polska.
, said Krzysztof Groyecki, Vice President of the Management Board, Asseco Poland.
According to the EU regulation 910/2014 (the so called eIDAS), a qualified electronic signature is recognized in all EU member states. An electronic document is as important as the one having a handwritten signature.
The agreement with Asseco was concluded for a period of 5 years.

Ultimately, after an e-Referral is issued by a doctor, patients will receive an informational printout containing a barcode. They will also be able to choose an electronic referral as an SMS or e-mail containing a 4-digit verification code - PIN (options active only for holders of an Internet Patient Account). Then, a patient will be able to make an appointment by phone.
said Krzysztof Groyecki, Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.
The pilot project as well as providing patients with access to e-Referrals is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the Centre for Health Information Systems. At this stage, the implementation of e-Referrals is possible only in places where selected medical facilities are located. As of January 1, 2021, electronic referrals will be available throughout the country.

Owing to the Informacje Medyczne application, patients get access to the results of examinations, which were previously collected only by a health care unit. They can also download the documentation directly to their phone without having to visit the unit. If the documents are not available in a digital version, it is possible to save their photo. A useful function is also the simplification of logging in to the electronic registration in medical units and the creation of a list of selected places where treatment is carried out.
Asseco has been consistently following ongoing trends in the healthcare sector. Among them, one direction of change is undoubtedly dominant - it puts patients at the centre of attention, giving them special rights. They are the owner of medical data and very often the main carrier of information about their health. Therefore, it is very important that both a patient and medical units have the tools to simplify the mutual exchange of information. Thanks to our new application, a patient has access to relevant medical information and can decide for whom to provide it. All of this takes place on a smartphone, which is nowadays one of the main communication tools. In my opinion, this direction of change will be of key importance for the healthcare sector in the coming period, said Krzysztof Groyecki, Vice President of the Management Board, Asseco Poland.
From the point of view of medical units in hospitals and clinics or single-person doctor's surgeries, the application saves time and ensures the security of transmitted information. Owing to the application, access to medical data is granted without the involvement of personnel. In turn, doctors gain the possibility of more effective implementation of visits and medical consultations because they can receive medical documentation from a patient in advance. For the managers of medical units it means therefore a reduction of costs related to the work of the staff and telephone communication with patients.
Asseco's Informacje Medyczne application ensures a high level of security of the transmitted data and operates in a simple, fast and modern way. The functionalities of the solution undoubtedly simplify the flow of information between a patient and medical units, and thus fit perfectly into the requirements of co-financed projects aimed at increasing the availability of medical facilities for a patient, said Szymon Chamuczyński, Director of the Mass Products Department, Asseco Poland. We are constantly developing our product because we want it to become one of the basic tools supporting a modern patient in the treatment process, and so for example, we will soon add the possibility of remote prescription ordering or receiving a message directly from the attending physician, he added.
The new solution is integrated with Asseco's another application – Apteczka Domowa (Home First Aid Kit) - which is used to manage medicines in terms of their possession, dosage, application and expiry date. It can be run directly from the Informacje Medyczne application level.
