The titles were presented during the gala ceremony held in Warsaw on 20 January. Asseco, which is a leader in the Polish IT industry, has been recognized for extremely effective and efficient implementation of its international expansion strategy as well as for engaging in research and development activities.

The total purchase price of TSG shares will be USD 50 million, with each of the parties acquiring a 50% stake in the company for USD 25 million. The investment will enable Asseco Group to expand the scope of its activities in the sector of defense and security. TSG is a subsidiary and the military arm of Ness Technologies, a global vendor of IT solutions. It is a leading provider of command and control systems to Israel’s defense organization, including the Israeli Defense Forces and the Israeli Police. Acting together with IAI, Israel’s largest manufacturer of military and business jets as well as unmanned flying machines, Formula Systems will acquire half of TSG shares. By making this investment and entering into cooperation with a new partner, the company will be able to expand its operations into further markets.

Asseco Group continues to intensify its activities in the defense industry. The company has a proven track record of projects implemented, among others, for the Polish Ministry of National Defense, NATO, and the Frontex agency. Leveraging on its experience gained through the execution of projects for international institutions, the company takes part in tenders for the modernization of the Polish Military Forces, including the “Willow” command system, image analysis system, unmanned systems, as well as IT security systems. In 2015, Asseco Poland has become a member of the “BMS Consortium” that is going to offer a technologically advanced Battlefield Management System (BMS).

The ranking has been prepared on the basis of total sales generated in individual sectors in the years from 2001 to 2014.Asseco was also the leader in the previous report Computerworld Top200, proving to be the best in 6 categories.

Asseco Data Systems combines strong expertise and many years of experience of all of its constituent companies. It offers IT solutions and software for local administration and enterprises. ADS also provides dedicated IT systems for customers on the national level, such as leasing companies and financial institutions. Moreover, it is the largest electronic signature center operating in Poland. The company’s operations furthermore include the management of electronic documents as well as mass print-out and e mailing services. It became a leading provider of training services and web-based platforms for human capital management and e-learning. Finally, ADS also manages modern data processing centers.

Five out of the top ten medical centers are served by our company. The ranking has been prepared by the medical industry magazine, Puls Medycyny. It includes 400 hospitals that generated the largest revenues in 2014.

Currently, tens of thousands of kilometers of broadband networks are being constructed throughout Poland.  These structures can be compared to “highways” that will significantly boost the availability of high-speed Internet across the country. Each highway needs junctions, exit and access roads so that it could be used by local communities. The same applies to the Internet and infrastructure which is necessary to bring it to our homes. The whole system of connected vessels will work on condition we have efficient operators  that manage fiber-optic networks, as well as local internet providers whose task is to serve individual households or businesses. In order to support their activities, we have developed a brand new software called Asseco Convergent Services Environment (Asseco CSE).

Asseco CSE has been created on the basis of Asseco’s experience gained when implementing the “Internet for Mazovia” project and our long-term cooperation with the telecommunications sector. This software responds to the needs of optimizing IT infrastructure, managing services in real-time, as well as marketing of converged products, meaning services that can be bundled within a single offering (e.g. Internet, television and electricity).

“With many years of experience in cooperation with the largest Polish operators, we have managed to create a system that supports the management, sales and billing of converged services, and is well adapted to the requirements of the Polish telecommunications market,” said Radosław Semkło, Director of the Telecommunications and Media Division, Asseco Poland S.A.

Asseco CSE has been designed a component-based system, allowing for highly flexible deployment as well as reducing the costs of maintenance and integration. The system will also be a strong element in pursuing the omnichannel strategy, which involves serving customers through various access channels such as a website, call center, face-to-face meeting, or a mobile application. Asseco CSE can be installed either in the client’s own or Asseco’s infrastructure, hence the system is available for use by large telecom operators as well as by smaller, local players or mobile virtual operators.
