Asseco is the largest capital group in the IT industry, as well as the largest company with Polish capital selling its proprietary products and services - these are the results of the ITwiz BEST100 report. This is a ranking that presents the performance of the IT industry. Asseco once again became the leader of this ranking, taking 1st place in 9 categories.

The company has achieved its highest revenues in the sectors of the following services: maintenance, integration, cloud computing and application implementation. It is also a leading supplier to the public administration and uniformed services, banking, and large companies and enterprises.

Asseco has once again been included in the list prepared by Home&Market magazine. The H&M 500 Index is a list of companies that undertake activities in line with the idea of corporate social responsibility, and ESG is a standard, not a trend, for them.

Asseco is guided by the idea of economic wisdom - paying taxes in the places where revenues are generated and caring for local communities. One of the company's key projects is the charitable "We Help" campaign, which has so far allocated more than PLN 2 million to help more than 6,000 children and 130 families.

Asseco's mission also includes secure and effective digital transformation. The company implements projects aimed at ensuring the development of societies by facilitating their access to IT solutions and services, such as in healthcare, social security, education and smart city. In addition, it promotes the idea of paperless by transferring its clients' analog processes to the digital space.

The surrounding natural environment is also a good for local communities, so Asseco cares about its protection, including reducing energy consumption and investing in renewable energy sources. It also initiates pro-environmental projects, such as flower meadows located at selected Asseco offices, which support biodiversity.

The system for data exchange and analysis (CSD EP System Client), developed by the Asseco team, received a positive result during the Coalition Combat Interoperability Exercise (CWIX). It was held in June this year at the NATO Combined Forces Training Center in Bydgoszcz and was attended by 2,500 experts who tested some 490 technological solutions.

Asseco has unveiled the Polish CSD EP System Client solution. The system enables intelligent data exchange and analysis within the NATO coalition, allowing rapid sharing of reconnaissance information such as satellite images, reports, maps and drone videos. During the exercise, it was confirmed that the Asseco solution meets NATO standards as defined in STANAG 4559 (a standardization agreement for North Atlantic Alliance member countries). In addition, it is integrated with ESRI state-of-the-art ArcGIS Pro analytical software, allowing military analysts to perform complex data searches, analysis and publication of work results within a single application. During last year's CWIX exercise, the CSD EP System Client passed verification after file data testing. This year, experts focused on testing the transmission, reception and processing of video data. They focused primarily on tasks related to streaming video data from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a key component of today's battlefield.

Polish innovation for Alliance troops

Our software provides the armies of any Alliance country with access to reconnaissance data present on NATO CSD (Coalition Shared Data) servers regardless of which CSD server the country uses, said Anna Protasowicka, Sales Director, Asseco Poland. The CSD EP System Client solution has been positively verified during the CWIX 2024 exercise for cooperation with server software from different manufacturers. This functionality sets it apart in the international market, where there are few products of this type. The integration of the CSD EP Client with analytical software allows the entire analytical process to be carried out: from searching for data, to downloading it to a workstation, to sharing the results of analytical work, she added.

Largest CWIX exercise in NATO history

The annual Coalition Combat Interoperability Exercise is designed to improve the Alliance's military capabilities. They are attended by representatives of NATO member states, including engineers, scientists and representatives of the uniformed services and suppliers to the sector. During them, solutions for information exchange in operational activities are tested and validated. This year's edition was the largest ever held. In three weeks, some 490 solutions underwent 26,000 tests.

As a result of the successful testing, our software is in high demand and we expect it to be implemented by NATO countries, Anna Protasowicka concluded.

Asseco, with revenues of PLN 16.9 billion, was included in the list of "1000 largest companies in Poland" prepared by the editors of "Gazeta Finansowa". In addition, last year the company recorded a net profit of PLN 1.6 billion, the second-highest result in its more than 30-year history.

Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE) took 1st place in the "Best Implementation of a Cloud Service in the Last 12 Months" category in the "Best in Cloud" competition organized by the Computerworld magazine. It was awarded for using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud resources to provide the Initial Data Migration Tool for the Central Energy Market Information System (CSIRE). The solution will benefit about 300 electricity sellers and distributors. Asseco prepared and launched the tool for PSE.

The construction of the CSIRE system requires the migration of data from about 300 electricity market participants. This is an unprecedented event in the Polish energy industry. The challenge is both the amount of data transferred to the system and the need to standardize the way it is collected and processed by many entities operating in the Polish market. This is because ultimately CSIRE will collect information from more than 19 million electricity metering points. Currently, they are located in the systems of electricity sellers and distributors.

As part of the construction of the Data Migration Tool, Asseco created specialized software using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Technologies were implemented that ensure very high processing efficiency (which is crucial for such a large project), as well as the scalability and flexibility of the solution - efficient handling of large amounts of data and saving resources at times when business needs are minimal. The tool is compliant with current data protection regulations (GDPR) and provides a very high level of security by using the entire architecture according to the principle of minimum privileges.

The "Best in Cloud" competition promotes, among other things, the most effective ways to implement the cloud. The "Best Implementation of a Cloud Service in the Last 12 Months" category recognizes companies and public institutions that effectively use cloud technologies. The result is determined by the impact on the organization's functions, the measurable economic effect and the impact on solving the organization's significant problems.
