OPERA application
The main business objective for OPERA is to provide the capability to plan and manage operational resources.
In particular:
- providing on-line database of border guards belonging to the EBGT Pool
- providing a resource deployment tool used for planning, allocating and monitoring * resources related to the operations handled by Frontex
- automatic generation of accreditation / participant documents
- enabling monitoring of operational resources
Functionalities
OPERA is an IT system that improves Frontex and Member States capabilities to plan and manage operational resources. Opera provides the following functionalities:
defining needed technical equipment and human resources |
sending requests to MS for availability and accepting resources |
creation of Accreditation Documents |
managing deployed resources |
generating reports |
defining the Running Expenses of Means (REM) for the reimbursement of the assets deployed in Frontex coordinated activities |
